PFM Today

Editorial Policy

How PFM Today researches, writes, sources and corrects its news, including how we use AI in our newsroom.

Last updated: November 6, 2026

This policy explains how PFM Today produces its journalism and what readers can expect from us.

Accuracy and sourcing

  • Facts are taken from primary sources wherever possible: official announcements, filings, research papers and statements.
  • When we rely on another publication's reporting, we credit and link to it.
  • Every article ends with a list of its sources.
  • We separate fact from analysis. Analysis and context are clearly written as such.
  • We do not publish rumours as fact. Unconfirmed reports are labelled as unconfirmed.

How we use AI

Our newsroom uses AI tools to help monitor news, research and draft articles. AI-assisted articles are written from the sources listed with each story, checked against those sources, and published under the PFM Today Newsroom byline. We do not use AI to invent quotes, people or events, and we do not publish AI-generated images presented as real photographs.

Originality

Our articles are written in our own words. We do not copy articles from other publications. Short quotations are used only where the exact wording matters, and they are always attributed.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Corrected articles show an "Updated" date, and significant corrections are noted in the article. To report an error, email info@pfmtoday.com with the article link and what needs correcting.

Independence and advertising

Advertisers have no influence over our editorial decisions. Ads are clearly marked as advertisements. Any sponsored or partner content will always be labelled "Sponsored".

Images

We use images we have the right to use: our own graphics, licensed images, or official press images, credited where required.
